Haus Kathan is located in the sunny south of Austria, in the beautiful state of Carinthia. The B&B is hidden in the mountain village of Kamering, where it is surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful nature. A place where you can relax and really unwind.

There is a lot to do and discover in the area. Outdoor and nature lovers can take extensive walks, bike rides and/or SUP tours. The landscape consists of dense forests, impressive mountains and clear blue lakes.

The house has all the facilities you need. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet. For children there is a pleasant playground in the garden of the B&B. There is a very large outdoor swimming pool 5 minutes away.

The sunny terrace and the parlor offer the opportunity to have a drink and enjoy the beautiful view over the valley between the Alps.

In short, Haus Kathan is a nice place to relax and enjoy the unparalleled nature in Austria.

Meet Olaf and Chantal!

The house is run by Chantal and Olaf. As a young Dutch family with two children, we emigrated to Austria in 2021. Here we have found a quieter and more pleasant life, which we would like to introduce you to during your stay.

It goes without saying that we love nature. If we get the chance, we go hiking, SUPing or do other fun things in the area. We live in balance and attach great importance to natural and high-quality food. We call that real food. We ensure that you always get a fantastic breakfast at Haus Kathan to start your day.
